Bituminous is prone to undergo complete exposure of varying temperature which results expansion and contraction, therefore testing of ductility of its binder becomes necessary, also ductility test gives a check on cracking of bitumen under traffic stress.

-Pavement Dynamic Cone Penetrometer

The DCP is very robust instrument designed for structural properties of existing road pavement. It can measure upto the depth of 800mm or 1200mm with extendable rod. It consists of 8 kg weight dropping through a height of 575mm and a 60o cone having dia of 20mm.

-Marshall Load Frame

The test is suppose to measure the resistance to plastic flow of cylindrical specimen of bituminous paving mixture loaded on the lateral surface.To use it with hot mixtures like asphalt, tar and aggregate upto 25.4 mm maximum size.

-Paint Pressure Tester

Used for determining pressure resistance properties of ready mix paints and enamels.

-Pavement Core Drilling Machine

Machine is designed for the purpose of drilling cores to take specimen from roads, bridges, highways,airport runways etc.
